I grew up in that neighborhood and went to school around the corner from the brewery. The smell was horrible, especially during warm months. (just imagine it being 90F and a whole classroom full of puking 3rd graders) But that bottle was the most awesome thing. At 60 feet tall it is probably the worlds largest beer bottle...and it had the Pabst Blue Ribbon label on it. I can remember it being the one thing that always meant "we are almost home", as we passed it on the highway. Unfortunately they took it down a few years ago. I miss that damn bottle. You have seen nothing until you have seen this bottle of Pabst Blue Ribbon.
